Built from a new 64mm high NACA profile rim, the Mavic Comet Pro SL UST wheel features a profile proven by hours of wind tunnel testing to achieve the lowest possible drag without compromising stability. It has a wide, rounded shape to counter the effects of side winds.
The rim features iTgMax carbon fiber machining, which includes a laser treatment to remove the first layer of resin from the brake band. This innovative process improves braking performance and reliability in both wet and dry conditions without sacrificing wheel strength.
This version is equipped with UST Road Tubeless technology, which offers several advantages: first, an increased rolling efficiency of up to 15% at equivalent pressure compared to tubeless tires. Second, improved ride comfort, with the ability to slightly reduce pressure for smoother riding and better control.
The ultra-lightweight Instant Drive 360 freewheel body offers quick engagement at only 9 degrees. Finally, the wheel is shod with a Yksion Pro UST tubeless tire.
