What is it?
YPSILON (pronounced ip.si.lon) is SILCA's take on the humble Y-Wrench. Most tools in this guise feature 4, 5, and 6mm keys; meaning that keys for some of cycling's most common use cases are readily available in a single tool. The Y-Wrench shape also provides superior control and stability when compared to traditional hex keys, especially in tight workspaces.

Why did we design it?
Ypsilon was designed by a team of engineers and mechanics obsessed with product improvement. The tool body is constructed using a composite polymer with overmolded soft touch grips. Unlike traditional Y-Wrench designs, YPSILON is customizable and adaptable to the mechanic's preferences. This is accomplished using a ¼” bit collet with a magnetic bit retention in place of a fixed 6mm hex. This departure from traditional Y-Wrench design is inspired by the versatility of our T-Ratchet + Ti Torque Kit. The YPSILON can easily transform into any required ¼” based tool by swapping the bit.
