Park Tool's high-quality tools ensure the proper servicing of headsets. The Oversized Crown Race Setting System utilizes two different insert rings to install bearing races on 1.5" and 1-1/4" forks. An aluminum insert protects the bearing surface from direct impacts.
Using a hammer, tap firmly on the end cap of the tube to safely and accurately set the race into its correct position. The included extension enables work on fork steering tubes up to 425mm in length. SHIS terminology: The CRS-15 services crown races in SHIS 33 and 40.
