Often used in road training and racing, Mavic's Ksyrium Elite UST Disc wheel is versatile and offers a dynamic yet lightweight ride with the benefits of UST Road Tubeless technology.

This patented system integrates the new Yksion Elite UST tubeless tire perfectly into the wheel. Mounting, demounting and maintenance are easier than ever. And you get the benefits of tubeless: reduced rolling resistance, smoother handling and better control. Without a tube, you can lower your tire pressure without risking a pinch puncture. In addition, the preventive fluid helps to avoid punctures.

The rim is manufactured according to the ISM 4D process and has been widened (19 mm internal/23 mm external). ISM stands for Inter Spoke Milling. This unique process reduces the thickness of the rim walls between the spokes to obtain a lighter and still very strong rim. To strengthen the front wheel and allow it to accommodate disc brakes, the number of spokes has been increased to 24.
