Benefiting from all the Italian brand's know-how, the FULCRUM Racing Speed 40C CMPTZN clincher wheelset is designed to offer the most demanding cyclists the same quality as that enjoyed by World Tour athletes. The wheels are built around an ultra-lightweight Twill-finish carbon rim that delivers exceptional responsiveness for incredibly lively relaunching, maximum control and maximum power transmission. The 40 mm high profile, combined with a 19 mm internal width, guarantees the best possible compromise between lightness, stiffness, balance, efficiency and aerodynamics, making this wheelset extremely versatile.
The carbon front hub and the oversized aluminum rear flange form an innovative duo that guarantees excellent torsional rigidity and therefore enhanced responsiveness. These hubs are complemented by CULT's highly efficient ceramic bearings and cone/cuvette technology, which keep the balls in an optimal position, increasing rolling efficiency and service life.
Finally, to complete this wheelset, Fulcrum has opted for variable-section, straight-head aero spokes to guarantee optimum stiffness and enhanced aerodynamics.
