The Superleggera Shell Jacket and Vest are the result of careful design. Their main fabric is Pertex® Quantum, a Japanese fabric from which Castelli has removed the standard coating in order to leave a very small permeability to air and thus let the sweat escape.
Its DWR coating protects you from light rain. They used a fully waterproof stretch panel in the back that protects against wheel splashes and allows for a great close fit. Best of all, this garment takes up very little space in a jersey pocket. The vest has mesh panels chosen for their breathability, while the jacket is fully enclosed for even more protection.
