These shorts are the result of decades of work to make long hours in the saddle more comfortable. We used our highly stretchy Forza fabric here. It contains 38% Lycra® to provide lightweight compression that never gets too tight and still feels incredibly soft.
The near-seamless construction comes from our Body Paint shorts, which debuted a decade ago and started the trend of reducing seams while maintaining a great fit. Nothing will break or cause chafing.
The famous Progetto X2 Air Seamless chamois has been revisited for this new season with a new layer against the skin made of a new fabric with a remarkably soft, more stretchy surface, allowing us to eliminate the front triangle.
We've also tweaked the smallest details, like the new shoulder strap construction and even the new silicone logos that stretch with the base fabric and recall the logo placement of the first Castelli Aero Short from the late 70s, the very first bib short that started the trend.
