With a revamped frame and the addition of electric assist, BMC's Fourstroke LT AMP is the bike of choice for any cross-country enthusiast looking to push their limits.

Its geometry has been updated with larger top tube and seat tube angles and a lower bottom bracket. The result is better maneuverability on steep or loose terrain. In addition, it is now possible to install a second bottle cage and to fit it with tires up to 62 mm wide.

The rear triangle has also been redesigned and a second vertical arm has been added, increasing its rigidity by nearly 20%, which considerably reduces the torsion felt during pedaling. This addition translates into a real performance gain.

The Fourstroke LT features 120mm of suspension travel and the new Advanced Pivot Suspension (APS) system, which provides a harmonious balance between shock absorption, pedaling efficiency and handling. To achieve this, it has four pivots, two at the top and two at the bottom, to better distribute shocks. Its anti-squat function allows the shock to sink with the impact, so that it follows the terrain. This reduces chain tension and improves traction. The APS keeps the suspension active during hard times by reducing rebound caused by pedaling and preventing jerking during braking.

Everything is there to maximize the frame's durability: there's an integrated fork stop, a molded-in plate on the chainstay and a mudguard at the bottom pivot.

The Fourstroke AMP LT takes things up a notch with its power hidden in the TQ-HPR50 electric assist system. Powerful, lightweight and compact, it fits perfectly into the frame so it doesn't detract from its sleek look or maneuverability. It features a 360 Wh battery, a fully integrated 5 cm display and a minimalist trigger on the handlebars.
