The new " SUV in e-bike form " is an all-new full-suspension mountain bike with the range and carrying capacity for a weekend camping trip, or even grocery shopping with the kids. The Turbo Tero X will sit alongside the existing Turbo Tero Specialized hardtail in the brand's electric mountain bike range.

The Turbo 2.2 motor is the same motor found on Turbo Levo mountain bikes — so it has been tested and approved on the roughest terrains, in the toughest conditions, to offer you the best possible experience. Combined with the MasterMind display that allows you to best manage assistance while keeping an eye on the range estimator, it allows you to enjoy your rides with peace of mind.

Additionally, the MasterMind display integrates perfectly with the Mission Control app. This allows you to enjoy live updates, advanced settings, on-the-go diagnostics, and much more.

The entire Turbo Tero X range comes equipped with a kickstand, fenders, integrated front and rear bike lights, and a rear rack with a 20 kg capacity.

Additionally, the Turbo Tero X can accommodate Specialized's front rack and Adventure plate. These two items can carry an additional 10 kg in total . To install a rear trailer, it's possible to swap the standard thru-axle for a 148x12mm thru-axle compatible with trailers. The 60 kg towing limit is sufficient for transporting children, for example.

Absolute Comfort

The Turbo Tero X will let you devour potholes and tame rough terrain. With comfortable suspension and riding position, Ground Control tires offering unwavering grip, and a dropper seatpost, it's easier than ever to embark on new adventures.

The combination of 130mm front travel and 120mm rear travel allows the rider to remain seated over potholes, bumps, and rocks, without causing excessive movement. The dropper seatpost is included to facilitate maneuverability and dismounting—for example, at traffic lights when commuting to work. The bike's setup is "mullet" style, combining a 29-inch front wheel with a 27.5-inch rear wheel. This lowers the rider's center of gravity, which should increase stability and bike control.

The exception is on the smallest frame size, where both wheels are 27.5 inches.

The Specialized Turbo Tero X is powered by an exclusive 250W e-bike motor .

The Turbo Tero X 5.0 and Turbo Tero X 6.0 each have a 710Wh battery , while the Turbo Tero X 4.0 drops to 530Wh .

The range is estimated at 130 km in Eco mode at 25 km/h or 110 km at 32 km/h , depending on the battery and motor type. The bikes use Specialized's Turbo System display. It features Eco, Trail, and Turbo modes, while the "Microshift" option allows the rider to adjust the assistance level in 10% increments.

The lockable and removable battery comes from Specialized's proprietary e-bike system. The removable battery is housed in the downtube. It can be charged on and off the bike and locked with a provided key. The bottom bracket mount can accommodate a bike lock, though this is not supplied with the bike.

For added security, the " Turbo System Lock " disables the e-bike motor and activates a motion sensor. This triggers an alarm if someone moves the bike without unlocking it via the Mission Control app on your smartphone.

As another protective feature, bolted steel fenders are included on all three models.

It's possible to connect a heart rate monitor via Bluetooth or ANT+ to the Turbo system. With the Smart Control option, you can also adapt the motor's assistance level to maintain a specific heart rate range. Turbo Tero X software updates are performed via the Mission Control app over Bluetooth.

The bikes are built around the same Specialized E5 aluminum frame for a weight of approximately 26 kg .
