Flux Expert Light

As every year, bicycle product manufacturers present their new models of bikes and accessories. This year, Specialized is back and spoiling us with several new products, including the FLUX lighting system. A system that will undoubtedly be one of the most effective on the market, if we judge by the demonstration made to us during the launch of Specialized 2015 products in Montreal.

With the public's growing awareness of road sharing and bicycle safety , we believe that presenting a new bicycle lighting system is timely.

Specialized's lighting system presents itself as the ultimate day and night lighting system. Its effectiveness lies in a technology that amplifies and projects light from the LED bulb thanks to a reflection system contained within the casing.

Specialized offers its new lighting system in two versions: the Expert model with three LEDs (1200 lumens) and the Elite model with one LED.

One of the features that makes the system so effective is the lamp's ability to direct the light beam where it matters most: on the road.

The lithium battery is rechargeable in 3.5 or 4 hours via USB. The battery and lamp are housed in robust and lightweight aluminum casings.

According to the demonstration by Specialized, the front light is designed to create a carpet of light on the road, similar to car headlights. This approach avoids dazzling oncoming motorists and cyclists. As for the taillight, it would be visible from 0.5 km away in broad daylight!
