Blog Post - specialized-s-works-tarmac-sl4-it-passed-the-test-in-competition-2

"I have had the pleasure of riding a Specialized S-WORKS Tarmac SL4 since spring 2012. After 3 seasons on this road bike, I assure you that I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Well, okay, maybe for another orange and black S-WORKS Tarmac SL4...

The Tarmac frame is extremely stiff and light, making it a very responsive road bike to the various accelerations that can occur during a race. Its lateral stiffness is especially noticeable during sprints and climbing out of the saddle. The frame's stiffness, however, does not compromise comfort during long days on the bike. The bike's handling is incredible on technical descents and in high-speed corners.

My Specialized S-WORKS Tarmac SL4 has successfully passed the "TEST" during my many rides and in competition. If you are a demanding racer or cyclist who loves speed and climbs, this excellent all-around bike is for you!"

This review was conducted by Sébastien Cossette, a rider for the Quilicot-Rackultra team.

Here are his best race results in 2013:

  • 2nd Canadian Criterium Championship
  • 2nd GP de Ste-Martine
  • 3rd GP de Contrecoeur
  • 4th GP Ottawa
  • 5th General Classification of the Coupe des Amérique.
  • 3 podiums at Mercredi de Laval (including one victory)
  • 4th general classification of ACVQ.
