Oka Abbey trails
It's hard to beat Montreal's proximity. Already renowned for mountain biking in summer, with more than 60 km of narrow, winding trails suitable for cyclists of all levels, the Abbaye trails are also of interest in winter. Combined with those of Oka National Park, they offer splendid views and a healthy dose of adrenalin.
Parc du Mont Loup-Garou (Sainte-Adèle)
Located in Sainte-Adèle in the Laurentians, Mont Loup-Garou park offers top-level fatbike trails that have made their reputation within the Quebec fatbike community. The Fat Garou section in particular will delight the most demanding cyclists looking for a sporting challenge, with its rugged one-way trail requiring good technical skills. But as they say, it's worth the effort, and you're sure to enjoy some great sensations!
Parc des Sommets (Bromont)
Bromont's reputation for mountain biking is well established. The same goes for Fatbikes in winter! With its trails divided into three sectors, the park offers 35 km of perfectly groomed trails. With annual snowfalls approaching 9 meters and a wide range of vantage points, there are plenty of good reasons to get out on your bike, even in the middle of a storm ;)
Empire 47 (Stoneham)
With several sites within easy reach of the nation's capital, the Quebec City region is also a dream location for Fatbike enthusiasts. Empire 47, located in Stoneham, regularly claims to be the world's most popular winter biking destination! And if you take a look at their network of trails, you'll understand why. With 40 km of winding, well-groomed trails and the possibility of riding under the stars, Empire 47 is sure to become one of Quebec's must-see destinations (and more).
Mont-Tremblant National Park
Parc du Mont-Tremblant offers a highly varied experience, with some fifty kilometers of trails that will appeal to beginners and experienced cyclists alike. Whether you're in the mood for a flatter circuit or a more challenging one with tighter curves, the various routes offer impressive views of the region.
