ENVE's goal when designing the G23 wheels was very simple: to offer an exhilarating riding experience on gravel trails and rough tracks. To achieve this, special attention was paid to the rim geometry and the choice of hubs.
With an inner rim width of 23 mm, the G23 is designed to be shod with 35-45 mm tires. While they offer sufficient control and traction, they do not provide adequate protection against pinching. To remedy this, ENVE, a true leader, has developed Wide Hookless Bead technology, which provides a wider surface area, further protecting the tire from punctures. That means you can ride with the tire pressures you want, with confidence and without limits. Also, they fit tubeless tires beautifully and have a molded bead lock system to ensure they stay securely on the rim, even on the roughest terrain.
The ENVE G23 is equipped with DT Swiss' excellent 240 hubs. Precision engineering and flawless machining have made the 240 one of the most popular hubs in the industry today. The 240 hubs are equipped with the latest developments and are characterized by their lightness and robustness. The ratchet system is the best solution for a freewheel system, as it can transfer high loads while maintaining a light weight. The result is a conversion of the power transmitted to the pedals into an unmatched propulsion.
