Keep Your Suspension in Tip-Top Shape!
The suspension is a key component of your bike. In addition to the usual, but essential tune-up, your mountain bike requires extra care for its proper functioning. Your fork and shock are constantly exposed to dust, mud, water, and friction; all contributing to their wear and tear. Thus, by regularly and carefully maintaining them, not only will it increase their lifespan, but performance as well. Want your days in the saddle to remain enjoyable and safe? Regular maintenance done by our experts will ensure you just that.
Why It's Important to Maintain Your Suspension
To get the most out of your mountain bike! An efficient suspension means even more fun on the trails. On the other hand, if poorly maintained, your suspension diminishes the qualities of your bike, and, worse yet, wears out prematurely. Simply put, less performance, less fun... and more problems. Don’t wait until it’s too late, make an appointment with our experts.
When Should It Be Maintained
According to major manufacturers (Fox, RockShox, etc.), it is highly recommended to perform suspension maintenance every 50 hours of use. In short, the more you ride, the more frequent the maintenance should be. Our 50h Service is a preventive care, carried directly in our workshops. In the case of use exceeding 50h, a total rebuild (150h Service), done by one of our suppliers, will be necessary. The cost will then be $200 minimum per suspension and there's a 2-week turnaround.
Who Is It for
All mountain bike owners. Whatever your level of practice, whether you are an avid cyclist or just starting out, regular suspension maintenance will guarantee you peace of mind at all time.
