With its very first carbon fiber wheelset, the Synthesis, Crankbrothers takes its place among the industry's big boys.
Both wheels have their own external width: the front wheel measures 37.5 mm, the rear 36.5 mm. This centimeter difference gives them characteristics that are very important when it comes to tackling the toughest trails.
The front wheel has a smooth feel that maximizes grip and control in turns. It also has a wider internal width to support a wider tire profile.
The rear wheel is stiffer to handle peak loads. Its narrower width allows it to fit narrower tires, improving rolling resistance and grip.
